We are excited to have you with us today! We invite you to worship with us. This morning, Pastor continues the series called “REAL LIFE”. Today’s message is REAL LIFE: “Thanking, Part One.” Tonight we are having our final home group meeting for the year.
Guests
We ask that all our guests fill out the guest registration card and place it in the offering bag or in the box in the back of the sanctuary so that we may have a record of your attendance.
Thanksgiving Dinner
Mark your calendar for the annual Thanksgiving Dinner. It is set for November 23rd, following the morning service. The church will provide the meat and we are asking you to bring a dish to pass. A sign-up sheet is located in the fireside room.
Community Wide Thanksgiving Service
First Assembly is hosting a community wide Thanksgiving Service this Thursday, November 20, at 7 pm. Make plans to join the body of Christ for a time of thankfulness. Pastor Art Fournier is speaking.
Christmas Play Meeting
There is a meeting after this morning’s service for all adults interested in taking part in the Christmas play. It should last about 1 hour.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
We are again participating in the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. The cost of shipping each box is $7 and we have fifteen to ship. If you would like to contribute to the shipping fees, please mark your envelope “shoeboxes”. More information is available in the foyer. The deadline to bring your boxes to the church is this Thursday, November 20th.

Kidz Church and Nursery
Kids are dismissed to their special services each Sunday morning after the offering.
Community Prayer
The community prayer service is here tomorrow night at 7:00pm.
Giving
Sunday, 11/9/08, the amount given was $2134.00. Our weekly budget needs are $2100.00. The weekly giving for the last 15 weeks has averaged $1873.38. Thank you and God bless you for your faithful and obedient giving.
Christmas Choir and Play
First Assembly’s Christmas play this year is entitled Christmas For the Generations. The production includes a kids play, a choir, and the college band. We need you to sign up to be in the choir or the play, or to help in one of the other areas. Please see the sign-up sheet in the fireside room.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Pastor is leading Wednesday night’s Bible study. Take time this week to study the books of James.
Church Rummage Sale/Clothing Exchange
We are planning a clothing exchange on Friday, December 5th along with a rummage sale for Saturday, December 6th. The proceeds from the rummage sale will benefit our building fund. Donated items will be taken beginning November 24th.
Poinsettias
This year you are given an opportunity to decorate the sanctuary with lovely poinsettias in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one. The price is $7.00 for fine quality plants. Please place your order today, so we can decorate the sanctuary for December. Fill out this form and put it in the offering or the box in the back of the sanctuary.

Missions is the Heart of the Church
One of the purposes of the Church is to stir a passion for the worldwide spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. First Assembly of God supports missions by praying for and giving to missionaries and their ministries.
Workers for the Harvest
