We are delighted to have you with us today!  We invite you to worship with us.  This morning, pastor continues the series “The Journey to the Cross.”  Today’s message is “Journey to the Cross: Judas.”

 

guests
We ask that all our guests (including those who have visited in the past) fill out the guest registration card and leave it in the pew or place it in the box in the back of the sanctuary so that we may have a record of your attendance.

communion today
This morning we are observing communion at the conclusion of the morning service.  Communion is for everyone who has chosen to follow Christ.

bylaws vote next sunday
A special called business meeting for the purpose of voting on the new bylaws is next Sunday, March 21st at 2:00pm. Jeff Hlavin, Secretary-Treasurer of the Assemblies of God, Michigan District, is in charge of this meeting.  All members are strongly urged to be present for this vote.  We will have the final informational meeting next Sunday immediately following morning worship.

women’s ministries breakfast
The women’s ministries are having a breakfast on April 10.  A planning meeting will take place on Monday, March 22, at 6:00pm.  All women are encouraged to attend this meeting.

bgmc sunday
Next Sunday is Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) day.  Thanks for your support of this vital missions ministry.

wednesday night Bible study—1st corinthians
We are studying the letter 1 Corinthians. Pastor has begun a new Bible Study entitled “Living in Community” .  We will study 1 Corinthians in its entirety over the next few months.  You are encouraged to be here every Wednesday at 7:00pm.

resurrection sunday egg hunt
First Assembly is having a Resurrection Easter Egg Hunt April 4th.  Please help us by bringing individually wrapped candy and placing it in the box in the foyer.  The youth ministry is having an egg stuffing party March 31st.

Sunday, 3/7/10, the amount given was $1,698.00.

clean up day
Resurrection Sunday is April 4th, and we are expecting more guests.  Please join us for a clean-up day this Saturday, March 20th  from 1:00-3:00pm.  Please bring supplies such as paper towels, dust mops, window cleaner, rags, or all purpose cleaners.

f.u.e.l. student ministries
Our student ministries will paint the youth room with a refinery theme during spring break.  Students, we need your help so we can get the painting done quickly.  See pastor or Traci for details.

men’s fellowship
March 27th, the men’s fellowship is hosting a men’s breakfast in the friendship room.  See Bob Hoos or Scott Rupert for tickets.

A Rotterdam November is coming to First Assembly of God on Friday, March 26th. The doors open at 6:30pm.  Our own Phil Stender is in this band.  We will receive a love offering to pay the band's expenses.  Invite your friends and help us to pack the house!

benevolence fund
First Assembly has a benevolence fund so that we can help those in need as directed in Scripture.  If you would like to give, please mark your envelope “benevolence.”
