Reaching: Through Transparent Leadership

Scripture:

1 Thess. 2:1-16

Reaching, what does that word mean to you? What does it mean to us as a church? What are we supposed to be reaching? Notice the graphic. The arms are reaching out, not up or down, but out. As people who have been born again we have already reached up to God…and continue to do so….while it is true sometimes we need to help people up that could give the idea that we think that we are better than others…we are above them…but to reach out…indicates that we are all on the same level. Who are we supposed to be reaching? How are we supposed to be reaching them? For the Christian, this one word has lots of meanings. As we continue through this year we need spend some time understanding this word and why it should be so important in our vocabulary.
